David and Martha are buried in unmarked graves in Centerhill Baptist Cemetery, southeast of Plantersville, Lee Co. MS

 

NOTE:  Found on 1860 Itawamba County Federal Census, page 50, family #321.  Apparently, David and Martha were living with the Samuel W. Barrett family, where David was employed as a farm laborer.

 

Note: The family is found on the 1880 Lee Mississippi Census, with Martha listed as a widow with three daughters (Malisa, Flora, and Elizabeth) living at home.  Her mother, Mary Bean, is living with them and is also listed as a widow. Marthas occupation is listed as being a cook on a farm.

 

Note: On the 1900 Census, Martha is living in Nettleton with Betty and Robert Birmingham.
