Our family didn't come over on the Mayflower.  Some of them were already here.... at Jamestown, Virginia.  Our forefathers didn't write the Constitution... they were too busy fighting the Revolutionary War.  They were from England and Ireland.... From Germany and Switzerland.  They were merchants and farmers... Quakers and Lutherans.... An odd assortment who formed the backbone of the new American republic.
