Cause of Death: Pulmonary Tuberculosis; Death certificate states he had been ill with this condition for 3 years and 1 month prior to his death.

Buried on 4 Jan 1926 in an unmarked grave in Hinchcliff Cemetery, North of Marks MS on Highway 3, Quitman County, MS
